Seasonal Affective Disorder

Move over restless legs syndrome, “SAD” is here. I call it the “eggnog blues”, but science says: Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is episodes of depression that occur at a certain time of the year, usually during winter. Symptoms usually build up slowly in the late autumn and winter months. Basically, the lack of sun makes you feel like shit. So next time you feel down this holiday season, it’s okay to be SAD.
